Us Learn More About Preventing Alzheimers Disease
If you are age
75 or older, in good physical and mental health, you may be eligible
to take part in the Healthy Aging & Memory Study, which is testing
new ways of measuring changes in memory over time.
To join, you will
need a study partner (a friend or relative who sees or talks to you
at least twice a week) who is also willing to participate. Participants
will be assessed regularly by qualified health care providers over the
course of the 4-year study. You and your partner will be compensated
for your time.
As researchers
look for ways to prevent or cure Alzheimers disease (AD), they
need all kinds of volunteers to help discover and understand the pieces
of this puzzle. The Healthy Aging & Memory Study, funded by the
U.S. Governments National Institute on Aging, seeks to make testing
of future AD treatments easier for researchers and study volunteers.
Someday, you, a
family member, or someone else you love may benefit from AD research.
Be a part of the team that helps put a stop to Alzheimers disease.
