Liduin E.M. Souren, M.S.N. Clinical Research Associate Liduin E.M. Souren, M.S.N., is Clinical Research Associate at the NYU Silberstein Aging & Dementia Research Center and Clinical Instructor at the Department of Psychiatry at the NYU School of Medicine. Liduin Sourens professional background is in health sciences, physical education, geriatrics and nursing. She has a longstanding commitment to caregiver education and training. Before joining the Silberstein Aging and Dementia Research Center, Liduin Souren lectured in geriatric care and nursing for many years in the Netherlands. Liduin Sourens current activities are centered around reconditioning of patients with moderate and severe dementia, preservation of functional capabilities in these patients, and non-pharmacological treatment of behavioral problems in patients with Alzheimers disease.
