Angelica Maria Perez, Ph.D. Research Assistant Professor Co-Director and Coordinator Multicultural Aging and Dementia Research Program
Dr. Perez recently completed an NIA-funded study focusing on Latinos perceptions and interpretation of symptoms of mild cognitive impairments and symptoms of Alzheimers disease, and on coping behaviors for these conditions. Dr. Perez is currently studying Latino and Caucasian family caregivers perceptions of initial signs and symptoms of cognitive impairments presented by their family member who was later diagnosed at our Center.
