Sergio Marini, Ph.D. Director of Psychometrics
Dr. Marinis research interests and goals include building a research program focusing on the better understanding of memory, developing new techniques to detect memory problems, as well as experimenting with different aspects of memory training. Dr. Marini received his Ph.D. from the Biopsychology Doctoral Program at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York in the Fall of 2000. His dissertation research focused on the relationship between two aspects of memory, priming and recency. His training in the Biopsychology Doctoral Program included research involving visual evoked potentials, as well as computer simulation of memory functions. He also collaborated on a number of experiments involving cognitive testing of elderly and young normal adults. Dr. Marini is the author of several publications about various aspects of memory, Alzheimers disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment.
