Sadia Faiz, M.D., M.P.H.
Assistant Research Scientist

Sadia Faiz, M.D., M.P.H. is an Assistant Research Scientist at the NYU Silberstein Aging and Dementia Research Center. Dr. Faiz is the Coordinator of the ADRC Brain Donation Program; Quality Control Clinician supervising a national multi-center pharmacologic trial under the sponsorship of MERZ + Co; and Investigator for a U.S. Administration on Aging funded study to improve caregiving for Alzheimer’s patients. In addition, she is responsible for administering the Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessment scale for evaluation of cognitive, behavioral and functional abilities in normal aging individuals as well as in individuals with different degrees of dementia.

Dr. Faiz’s current research interests include clinical trials and the autopsy research program conducted at the NYU Silberstein Aging & Dementia Research Center. This research focuses on establishing a pathologic diagnosis for patients and a tissue repository for research into the cause and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
