Programs & Services
As a research facility, The NYU Silberstein Aging & Dementia Research Center has the opportunity to provide its patients and their families with programs and services that are designed to incorporate the latest findings about age associated memory decline, Alzheimer's disease and other cognitive impairments. The ADRC's diagnostic evaluations are composed of cognitive assessments and physical examinations that are highly sensitive to various degrees of cognitive impairment. Laboratory tests are conducted in facilities using state-of-the-art equipment and testing techniques. Evaluation results, education and counseling are provided by experienced clinicians who are dedicated to helping people with cognitive impairment and their families, and work consistently toward advancing research in this area.
