MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the William and Sylvia Silberstein Institute for Aging and Dementia is twofold: to translate an understanding of brain aging and Alzheimer's disease and related disorders into effective strategies for early diagnosis and treatment; and to prevent age-related cognitive decline and promote healthy aging through state-of-the-art geriatric care, public education, and training of research scientists and geriatricians.
